I downloaded Explorer 9 and I hate it but can't get the System restore to work! On every new page there's a pop up at the bottom, something about protecting the page, it goes away but can I stop it happening?

Using System restore at this stage is not a great idea, and asking for trouble in my opinion.

I've never used restore sucessfully . It always comes up with the message that it was unable to do it.

Just go to your updates and uninstall IE9 as it is only an update and once you have uninstalled it will wiil go back to IE8 and all will be ok

Or better still just download Firefox and say goodbye to IE.

I like my IE9..............but I don't get the pop-ups.
