Babylon presents itself in two forms. One of those is as a standalone program which launches itself when you don't want it to. The other is as an annoying toolbar in your browser (which might be Internet Explorer, Firefox or something else).
If we're to seek a solution to your difficulties, it would help to know which of those two problems you're experiencing. (Which is why I asked my questions in my previous post).
Chivalry? I'd love to be your knight in shining armour but I can't rescue a fair maiden unless I know where she's imprisoned. That's why some more detailed information would help!

PS: If you want to try my original suggestion (even though the icon isn't present) try pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete to enter the Task Manager. Click on the 'Processes' tab and look for 'babylon.exe'. If you find it, click on it to highlight it, then click on 'End process'. (You'll receive a warning telling you that your computer is about to explode and that the end of the world will quickly follow, but proceed anyway). Then follow the instructions from my original link.
