i am rebuilding my website with but i am adding subdomains

i have built the main site which obviously links to the subdomains

in my site building software (webplus x5) do i need to build 5 separate sites, to be added together when they go live on my hosting account...or do i build one big massive site with all pages and sites linked up?

the plan is to have one main page that mentions all the separate sections and links to them, however i want each separate section to be accessible independantly and appear unnconnected at first

You don't 'need' to do it either way but my own preference would definitely be to create 5 separate sites and then to link them together at the end. It makes everything far simpler to handle!
