It's at home and I'm at work. Will have to get back to the abers later!
You will need to connect it up to a Freeview DigiBox by means of a Scart Lead.
The scart will be half the size of the tele..................
i doubt if a 4" tv even has a scart socvket

Hi all! Finally remembered to get make/model of said tv. Its a Goodman C530. As I said, its about a 4" screen, and certainly does not have a scart socket. I looked! It does have 2 little round holes for audio and something else (I can't remember!)

Actually its a 5" screen. An inch can make all the difference I'm told!
According to the technical details I have found the answer is probably no. It has no SCART socket as you say and appears to have only its own telescopic aerial as source of signal. If that is the case then it will not be usable with a Freeview box.

here is where I have been looking

Thank you Scotman. Looks like yet ANOTHER piece of useless electrical equipment sitting in the loft..........................!
Having looked again you might be able to do something using the audio/video sockets on the front but that needs someone more knowledgeable than me to answer. It would depend whether the Freeview box had suitable outputs.
