What exactly is 'not too pricey'?

At an average file size of 4MB a 1GB capacity player will hold between 200/250 tracks which is approx. 8 hours of music...

ok then snags, i bought a mp3 from a shop in spain, its supposed to be 4gb, but only has space for 60 songs, so thats about 3 hours, it cost me 25 euros(say around 22 quid)
Sounds like your music files are in WAV format, not MP3 then (so a song will be about 60mb each rather than 4MB)

not sure about formats, all i know is i download all my songs from either ares or piratebay.org
This is the one (I'm) using at the moment (link) brilliant device simple to use it's rechargeable, 1Gb (flash memory) it claims to hold 695 songs, ive managed to get near 300 on it, which is plenty.

This one on e-bay you can't go wrong if the bid stays low.

thanx arksided, but it looks like i´m not going to be able to get, as i havent used ebay for years, so when i tried to buy the mp3 player, they wanted all my details, inc paypal, but because i couldnt remember my password, it was going to be a phonecall because i also couldnt answer the security questions eg date of birth, postcode, theyve been the same for centuries!!
Question Author
just re-registered arksided. it looks like a 1/2 decent mp3.
well ive put a bid in. off home now. poss wont get it though, as dont have internet at home.
