There is a new service called  eway.com

I saw it on Working Lunch on BBCTV the other day.  It is not quite the same as ebay but it probably is better for someone who is not a dealer and there is a flat charge of �5 no matter how many times you advertise the thing for sale. (I think).  The company doesn't get involved in the money transaction, just puts people in touch.
