samsung galaxy tablet

Hi

I have just bought the Samsung galaxy tablet - was told at the shop that I could download movies onto it by first downloading onto the computer and then transferring to the tablet.

Unfortunately when I got home, I am not sure how to do this?

Does anyone know which software I need? I am a Uk user.
