Copying cd's.

 I have Windows XP and a dvd slot and a cd slot on my computer.  Is it possible to copy a cd (like tape to tape) but in simple terms - I have Nero but if you mention sources I'm lost - and I mean a whole cd not just selected tracks. Thanx

use the copy option but i do not see that u mention a writer of any kind

 Thunderchild yes I do have a writer but am not aufait with all this.

What you could do is copy the cd on to your computer by using windows media player, Then you can run as many copies off as you want.

I'm not trying to give a step-by-step guide, nettie, (as veryone has different set-ups ' software etc.), but a couple of pointers come to mind;

Nero will probably have a 'Copy Wizard' or something, which will guide and prompt you through the whole process. It might be worth finding it. (I tend to use this, as I copy CD's so infrequently that I've usually forgotten how to do it by the next time.)

Another thing, (and assuming you want a copy you can play on a CD player), you will need to ensure you are creating an  'Audio Disc' rather than a 'Data Disc'. This is one of the more common reasons for CD's that 'don't play' !!

Give it a go and see how you get on.
