I recently posted a question about my 6 yr old £300 Canon camera which had developed a fault . All the pictures were pink. Your advice was invaluable especially from ' treetops 1' who told me that fault had been reported 3 years ago and Canon had at that time recalled them for a free repair. I contacted Canon on the Web but it appeared that recall had now lapsed so I was looking around for a replacement and when in Currys a woman assistant said she would ring Canon and find out the cost of a repair . As a result they gave her a number for me to ring and when I did ,they said send it back for a free repair.
Which I did and within 3 days I got it back in perfect order.

So thanks to you all I learnt a lot about cameras and thanks to the service which I received from Canon and Currys .
