Identify this connection

I bought this car TV off eBay the other day, only to find when it arrived that it had a mess of cables that are supposed to connect into the car itself - whilst I was under the impression that it just connected to the cigarette lighter to power it.

What I want to know, not wanting to connect it up to the car wiring, is what the cable is that comes out of the TV. There are pictures below - and if anyone can identify the connection - is there any sort of adapter that allows me to simply connect it and plug it straight into a cigarette lighter.

The cable in pic two is an 8pin din, if that helps.

I would be questioning whose car the seller had knicked it from if he had no instructions for fitting.

Red and white phono plugs are sound, the yellow phono will be video. The yellow plug with multi pins looks like s-video.
Single core cables are generally yellow constant/memory, red switched live, black earth/ground. These should be checked to confirm as different countries of manufacture have their own colour codes.
The blue wire may be for connection to the vehicle handbrake to inhibit the display whilst the vehicle's in motion.
The screen itself looks like one designed to be cut into a headrest.
If you don't have any wiring instructions maybe a visit to your local car audio specialist (not Halfords) for a quote to install would be a plan.

Thanks guys, looks like I might have to go down and have it professionally fitted. I've never seen an 8 pin DIN used for powering something before, looks like more of a data connection.

The yellow multi pin will carry everything to the screen, the plug coming out the screen will plug into the matching socket in the "bundle" of wires.

Yellow phono is composite video it looks like there are two of them, a male and a female, one will be video in, the other video out to feed a second screen. the red and white phono are left and right audio.

The black wire will be earth, the red and yellow will be power and switched power, it looks like the red one is thicker so that's probably the main power and the yellow one is for memory.

As above, the blue one is likely to be for a safety switch.

It might make life easier though if you'd firstly laid the bundle of cables out so everything could be seen before taking the picture, and as ever, it always helps to state the make and model number as there is likely to be a manual for download somewhere on the internet.

Honestly, there is no manual for it anywhere and I've never heard of the company who make it. However, on the box it states "Ice Multimedia KI-007" as the brand name and model number.

I've asked for a quote from an installation company (not Halfords) - just to gauge how expensive it will be to get it professionally installed.
