Just got an old CD which says Operating System windows 95/98, Windows 2000 or windows ME. I have Windows 7 and I know this is probably a silly question but is this why I can't use it on my laptop ??

Yes, and I think I know the answer ... doh ... bought the wrong one.

Whatever it is ... only suitable for 98/ME/2000 .. not even XP
You need to chuck it away!
