Mobile IMEI number

Can anyone please advise me on how to find the IMEI number for my Mobile so I can stop Airpush Ads appearing on my phone. Many thanks.x

I'm unsure how it will stop the ads but the number is often found under the battery.

There is also a hash/star code you can enter to get it on the display, but I can't recall it at the moment.

Thanks. I shall go remove the battery just now. Its driving me nuts. Keep getting ads that I really don't want or need.x
