message blocking on a samsung

can someone please help? My mum has somehow blocked my messages on her new samsung mobile phone. I can find it in the massage options, but there isn't an option to turn it off. It just asks 'overwrite?' but if i opt for yes or no, my number still stays there.
She is an invalid and we really need to contact each other this way.

er, just to clarify - there's no MASSAGE option on my mum's phone!
