wireless speakers

thinking about getting one of those bose sound link speakers,has anyone got one or is there a better system ??

Nice quality .. but a LOT of money for what is effectively a battery active speaker, even tho it is wireless/bluetooth.

Well, depends what you call quality. If you thing Swarovski crystals are the height of visual aesthetics, you'll probably think Bose speakers are nice to listen to.
Bose are the bling of the audio world.

Bose are built (or where) like brick sh t houses.
Good quality heavy cabinets, etc.
Problem was .. in the 80's during their heyday, the used big enclosures with multiple high-power drivers facing to side and rear. This 'american' send-it-everywhere sound did not tend the please english ears, whose 'audiophile' requirements preferred a more realistic sound-stage. Gale's would beat the pants off them. But I bought Meridians :)
Still .. they have to compete these days, I suppose. Odd departure for Bose, tho.
