ipod face time for idiots

Hi, I have bought these for my girls for xmas. I can face time from one to the other at mums house and at my aunties house. However it wont work at my house. I can google and do internet stuff on both at my house Please Help or Xmas morning is not going to go down well!!!

sorry. OK i purchase 2 ipods4. I went to my aunts house to set them up etc and got them working on two different email addresses but on the same network at her house> they face timed to each other. I went home and although i could access the internet on both they would not facetime each other. I was confused so went to mu mums house and accessed her network and hey presto they face timed each other perfectly. Leading me to assume there is nothing wrong with the ipods or their settings but somehow it is my network at home. I rang talk talk and they said nothing wrong with connection. Does that make any more sense...it is confusing

You need to ensure either no firewall is enabled on your router, or if it is the following ports are open...

(That's a crazy number of ports to run one service over!)

It also might be talk talk capping the traffic on any of the above ports causing a problem. (they are a crap ISP for traffic shaping!)

Though, making sure UpnP is enabled on your router should automatically set all the ports OK..... but it's still a stupid way for apple to implement it!

ok i did the uppn thing which was not enabled. When i go to dhcp it shows both ipods on there. But on Nat it says single ip address. does it need to be multiple as on the dhcp shreen it shows them all as starting with 192 but then different numbers.
