Renewed my virus protection yesterday with Bullguard and they upgraded me to their 12th version.
However it caused some havoc wth IE and Microsoft and all just about in place now. IE9 and Windows obviously.
One little preference I like is the search box in the top left corner - not the one alongside all the tabs, but under, under the File Edit View Bar and above favourite sites where my access to AB sits amongs other things like a dictionary.
That has gone missing - the question being what do I press to retrieve it.
Thanks in advance....
Thanks Al for yesterday - who solved the error flag up that scripts are still running. Seem to have quietened down, though occasionally I get one.
You know I'm not a techie, but have you restarted your pc?
Also, if you right-click on the file/edit/view thingy, is anything unchecked which should be checked? I'm sorry not to be of any help, these are just suggestions.
I'm not much of one either but have been through that 0 I think its a alt and one of the function keys or something like that but I thought its best to ask before blithely banging keys and causing more grief.
Just spoken to son's 'techie' pal, if you press alt and then each F key from zero upwards, it might help. EG if you press alt and F1 and something happens which you don't like, then press alt and F1 again.
Where are the techies when they're needed.................!!!
The search box has been replaced in IE9 with a combined search/address box, so just type whatever you want to search for in the address bar and press enter.
