just took a look, its the same website allbags & chris suggested. this has proved to be a useless exercise for me, because i´ve tried countless times to download without any sign of success.
You MUST be able to download stuff before you can download the drivers from the link.
The Canon site has never failed to work to my knowledge.
You need to check you can download and get the drivers down to your PC first.

On the driver name link .. what do you get if you R Click and 'save file as/to'

You should not have to pay for any drivers ...
What 'exactly' did you click on in Control Panel to get that message?

allbags, everything seems to go ok, but after the so called download is completed, it then seems to disappear as if there wasnt a download in the 1st place!!
i´ll try again now, and let you know what happens
Also find out where the downloads are actually landing (saved to)
If the download automatically runs, it will create a folder with the setup exe in it.
.. and what was the answer about those drivers update in Control Panel? You haven't answered.
