Backweb or now Backweb Technologies Inc. is a company in San Jose, CA. Who have recently launch ProactivePortal Server 2.0 which prvides offline access to applications and information through a company's extranet. It logs onto a portal on behalf of the user, then analyzes the HTML pages it receives and sends out OTML tags (Backweb's proprietary integration technology), The OTML determines what information needs to be taken offline and what doesn't.
