Just seen Onspeed.com's claims of up to '5 times faster dial up' connection for just 24.99 a year. It works by utilising 'superior compression technology' (mmm...).

Saves going broadband for round about the same amount per month (if you don't need to use the phone at the same time as being online).

Anyone currently using this service?...Any good?

Previously had this and its OK for text based web pages, it compresses the information prior to you receiving it and allows you to make your own settings (for speed) - however at the maximum speed, any photographs are just very pixelated (putting it mildly) - Its OK for what it is, but theres definitely a downturn in the quality of the pages youll receive - also as you may know its NO faster for downloads of files etc.
Waste of money.
As above, Garbage
