It has to do with the Enabling procedure I guess. I had to get on to McAfee Help in the end, because I desperately wanted to send e mails. You can go the e mail route if you are not in a hurry, but there is a phone no. at 1 per minute for immediate help but they phone back if it's more than 15 mins. They e mail you the further solution if it's long, when you've explained the problem. Look at your McAvee stuff on Security Centre. My first troubles were identified by my PC manufacturer support (HP) 50p a min. if phoned. They told me that the PC package on recent machines has Norton anti-virus in the hard drive; no-one at the PC store probably knew that and sold me the McAvee package. The two shouldn't be operating together apparently and I had to uninstall the Norton, uninstall the McAvee and then reinstall the McAvee. I mention that in case that applies to you. If you are going to what the anti-virus package considers to be an unsecure site.... that's why you need to phone the support people. You can take all day reading the notes and still not be sure! It is worth the money if you have an hours limit Broadband IP. Some computer expert on AB might come to the rescue later.
