Can anyone tell me why all of a sudden my PC keeps on switching itself off. Is it a corrupt file and if so how do I find it?

It may be a setting in pc power set up!Try right clicking on desktop select :properties:screensaver:click settings and check power setup

Kat_Rob- do you have a network card in your pc? If so, it might be that- a friend of mine jad the same problem. Replacing her 10/100 ethernet card did the trick.
