there is a video clip on my wall that someone else must have put there. I certainly didn't. I want it gone but don't know how to do it. I've tried right clicking and there isn't an option that way.
How can i remove it? It's not very nice and not the sort of thing i would put on!
I don't know how it got there at all.

If you hover your mouse over the top of the video there should be a star and a pencil icon. Click on the pencil icon and it should allow you to remove it

Can't you hover over the the little v sign, top right of the individual post, and select hide, or remove?

Why am I being forced to join facebook. It seems that quite a few sites that I used to visit are telling me that I have to be on facebook to continue getting the best out of the site. I don't like the idea of facebook, is this just my paranoid schitzophrenia kicking in or do others feel the same way?

i absolutely hate it, although it did help me find two long lost friends from other countries.
But, day to day, it drives me mad. I never use it unless necessary.
last week i heard about a surprise party i was supposed to go to. her husband was to let me know when and where. As it was half term i hadn't seen anone at work and didn't know. I sent a message to my friend, saying sorry but he hadn't let me know. she said: 'Well he put it on facebook!' like it was my fault! He has my mobile number in his contacts!
ridiculous.
i do feel that something terrible will happen in the future, as a result of facebook and it will be shut down.
