Dark Web/Deep Web

Does anyone here surf the Deep or Dark Web?
Is there lots of good stuff there?
Is it worth downloading Ian Clarke's "Freenet" software?
Is the Dark Web really 400-550 times bigger than the Web that is accessible to conventional search engines?

http://www.online-col...esearch-the-deep-web/ might be worth having a look at ... the links should be mostly current, but they will give you a chance to nose around some of the Deep Web.
Only just saw your question, so I apologise for bringing it back to the subject !

I've just been checking some of the links in that link I gave - and some of them no longer exist.
There is a much shorter list of search sites at http://www.makeuseof....e-deep-invisible-web/ however one site they list (Intute) is now no longer being updated as a result of funding cuts, but the existing database will still be available for another couple of years. They also have tutorials aimed at teaching uni students how to do academic research in various disciplines, so they might be worth looking at.
