laptop away from home

can anyone explain how the laptop computer works when away from home eg- on holiday.I wish to take mine with me on holiday ,it has bluetooth on it whatever that is,and I wonder how you connect to a service provider without phone or access two connect to a modem,and what costs are involved .any help would be appreciated----- don

You'll most likely be able to use your phone as a modem. Using the bluetooth. As long as both your phone and computer are bluetooth. Else you'll need a data cable. The cost will be massive though, especcially since your abroad. I suggest you find an internet cafe somewhere. If you still want to do it, it'll depend on your phone, i suggest you do a search on google for something like...using bluetooth internet phoneMake.... Should bring up something. Sorry I can't be more help!
