I've only realised today that the Adroid Market is no more and has been replaced by Google Play.

Today I've tried downloading the BBC iPlayer and the ITV Player apps to my HTC Sensation without success. Both apps are showing that bthey are compatible with my device but at the end of the button-clicking process, I get a message that the requested apps will be downloaded shortly. After that, nothing happens. I've been waiting for the apps to be downloaded all day but it has not happened.

The only thing I can add is that when I return to the app download page, the apps have "installed" beneath them but they are definitely not showing in the "all apps" list on my phone.

The Android Market was never like this. I did sign in with my googlemail account too. It doesn't seem to matter if I try downloading via wi-fi or 3G.

Thanks
