it's not included in IE9 according to this http://www.brighthub....m/articles/89055.aspx (about 1/2 way down)
a while I accidently downloaded IE8...hated it...changed it back to IE8.
You probably got it with Windows UpDate...that`s what happened to me....I think..now I make sure only the important updates are done..not optional ones.
You`ll have to uninstall IE9,and download 8 in.
Or you could do System Restore.

Uninstall it if you really want to revert back to a browser that will shortly have no more security patches applied to it, leaving your computer wide open to being compromised.
You may not want to do anything like banking or use your credit card on it though.
Alternately, just put up with it for a couple of weeks until you get used to it (you will)

Will it not just update itself again at a later date? I had this the other day and with some help from chuck I now have IE9 looking just the way IE8 did and am quite happy.

You can stop it upgrading.
But I really wouldn't recommend it (hence why I'm not saying how to stop the upgrade happening), the update isn't being forced out because people think it will be a laugh, it's being forced out for genuine security reasons.
If you really don't like IE9 then try another browser, Firefox and Chrome are both good and can easily be removed if you don't like them.
