If one engages Adblock on AB to avoid the intrusion of adverts, does this result in a decrease of Broadband usage; because there is, in effect, less material being downloaded.?

Though most people with home broadband don't get anywhere near their download limits so the decreasing of broadband usage isn't really that important.

The fact every page will load faster because the adverts don't have to download is normally a much more noticeable and relevant matter.

At the moment I am using Adblock because I am concerned that flashing adverts are a danger to my eyesight and, for some folk, could even produce:-

As I'm on a pre-paid dongle, this is great to discover (I knew I liked AB)

Have Firefox as oh, whatever it's called, but can't find out how to block the ads.

PS...After loading , you will need to right click on the Adblock icon and then, as I have done, select 'Easy list' as your filter preference.
