how do I get back google back on the galaxy s11 He seems to have deleted it.

My friend had his phone set up and now he can't access google to type anything. Everything else is there. Any help will be appreciated.

He should be able to download it from the android app store. He could just go onto the internet and search. I do that instead of going through the app.

If you mean the google search box that appears on the home screen, long press on a blank section of any home screen and a menu will poop up, select andriod widgets from the menu and then select google search from the list of widgets, you can then move it about to where it's wanted on any home screen.

If I've guessed wrong about what you mean then you're going to have to explain a bit better what you mean by deleted google, There are loads of google features and apps installed as default.

he doesnt need to type anything - go to a blank page, long press as in press and hold finger on blank screen and a pop up will ask you what you want to do
Choose widget and scroll down for google

Thanks chuck I have got further now for him now just waiting for friends to come that may be able to sort it. I have found google by doing what you said but when I move it to screen it don't stop there. Think I am thicko lol

Thanks OJ yes that is what we have done but it wont stay on screen when we get to widgets and try and move it up.

To cut a long story short I now realise he wants google for his homepage as that is how it was when the shop set it up for him.
