SIM Card rejected

I noticed the above on my mobile phone screen this afternoon and cant get it to work. I wanted to know if anyone knew what would cause it. It is definitely the Sim card as I have tried another sim in the phone which works fine. I find ringing up the helpline a bit tedious sometimes so if anyone can help that would be great.

P.s. I haven't taken the Sim out at all recently so it hasn't been moved or put back in the wrong way

sounds to me like u need to have a word with your network as they may have cancelled that sim or something

The SIM card could have just failed in which case you will have to contact the 'phone co. to get a new one sent.  Try the help line after office hours, say at 8/9 p.m.  (You would have known if it was a duff battery, wouldn't you, as the other SIM card worked.)  Also you probably had to take out the battery to get at the SIM, so just removing and reseating the battery was done - can't be that either.    Have a good book handy when you contact the 'phone co.!

If your Sim card is rejected in your mobile you can contact the service provider or check whether the phone is locked to any particular network...
I fit is locked you can unlock it with the help of http://www.unbblock.com/blackberry/rs18wp8/ where they provide you with unlock code and free unlocking instructions.
