Do you know any good logo maker software?

I have been recently employed as a designer for a large serious IT company and want to impress my boss by suggesting a new company logo... what good computer program will you recommend me for that?

If you're a designer - presumably experienced as you've been employed by a 'large serious IT company' you must have access to Photoshop/Illustrator/Adobe Creative Suite?

Aren't you employed as a designer? Then, IMHO, shouldn't you design an outline of what you think the logo should be? Designing a logo by yourself would show your boss more of your own initiative than outsourcing to a 3rd party, what will you do for your next design?

Even if your design is rejected by your boss, at least you'd have the satisfaction of it being your OWN work, not a 3rd parties.

Any software will only aid in the production of a logo... it won't 'make' one for you... the creativity has to come from you.
