My internet went down a couple of days ago and then again the next day. Talk talk put a divert on my landline to my mobile phone while it was being repaired. Now although I can make call out when I get an incoming call my landline goes straight to answerphone. Tried contacting talktalk but as a lot of you will know the last thing they want to do is talk to you so no joy there then. I wonder if there is anything I can do to stop it myself thanks in advance. IMO, normally a call divert has to be removed from the originating number, so you'll have to contat talk-talk, and request them to remove their call divert.
Tomking, make sure they do not charge you for the divert, they charged me when my landline went down and i ended up emailing Charles Dunstone to get it sorted. Not sure why your answering machine is coming on though. Good luck with NO TALK. I HATE THEM
