Kindles bought in the USA

If I buy a Kindle in the USA, will I have any problems charging it in the UK? Sorry if this sounds very dim, I've no idea how they charge etc.

You'll need a different charger for the kindle, due to differing mains supply voltages. US Standardized at 120 V. UK Voltage tolerance of 230 V +10%/−6% (216.2 V to 253 V), widened to 230 V ±10% (207 V to 253 V) in 2008. The system supply voltage remains centred on 240 V.

I have a Kindle Touch bought in America before Christmas and charge it on my computer. I went on a cruise holiday recently for almost a month and borrowed my granddaughters phone charger, it worked a perfectly.

The standard Kindle mains charger operates at all voltages worldwide i.e. Input 100-240v 50/60hz

Therefore only a travel adaptor for the plug pin configuration would be required.
