I have had installed for many years a digital image editor called Photodraw, wjich I generally use to edit my photos.

I also have another called Microsoft Digital Image Pro 9.

The other day Photodraw refused to load for some reason so I removed it from my computer and tried to install it again via the original discs, but even those refused to re-install it.

When I highlight a photo and click on file among the options it asked if I want to edit this picture in Photodraw, which is no longer on my computer.

How can I change this to read "Edit in Digital Image Pro 9", so that I can then click on this to open up this programme to edit my picture?

Open Win Explorer, find the image file, right click on it.
You should get a list of options; one of these should be 'Open with...'. Select that and choose which editor to use.

Yes Howard I have done what you kindly suggested, but that only opens up the photo in the Digital Image Pro 9, it doesn't replace the wording in the File menu from Photodraw to Digital Image Pro 9.

And if I mark it up to always open it up in Digital Image it does thsat when I also want to open up my photos in Windows Image and Fax Viewer.

What am I doing wrong?
