Email AVG anti virus scanner

I have an Email sent to with PDF attachment but I think my AVG anti virus automatically assumes it's a dangerous file so it has deleted the attachment

it says 'OE removed access to the following unsafe attachments in your email'.

Does anyone know how to disable this function?

OE is Outlook Express, the email client. You should be able to configure it to stop blocking PDF.

Open app

Tools > Options > Security > Remove the check from "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could pottentially be a virus"

this should do it

and think about switching from OE to Mozilla (free).
Much less proe to virus
