TV problem - momentary loss of picture

I've got a new Panasonic TV (TX-L32U3B) but now and again the screen goes black and shows "EC/AV" in the top left hand corner, then "DVB/WIDE", then it settles back to the original screen.... any ideas? I have it hooked up to a DVD recorder via a SCART lead. Thanks

Sounds like a problem with your signal, rather than the TV. Do you get your digital signal through an aerial or cable/SKY?
