YouTube buffering

A possible cause of the problem is that something nasty is hogging most of your processing power. Download, install and run the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware:

However the usual cause of the problem is simply that your internet connection isn't up to the job. Take a speed test here:
http://www.speedtest.net/
(NB: Click 'Begin Test', not the advertising link 'Start Now')
If you're not getting at least 2Mbps (and preferably at least 5Mbps) then it's unsurprising that you're experiencing buffering.

6.89 download and 0.74 upload Chris, is that good? Even so, I still have problems with buffering on I-player. I do have SystemCare installed and regularly clear my temp files. Thanks for your helpful links,

PS I also do run Malwarebytes.

Thanx Chris, I did the Malware-anti & deleted as advised. 'Begin Test' didn't download, so unsuccessful :(

Anymore fixes, as YouTube is still painful & am really having withdrawals without music. cheers

The fault is with BT hub. BT (India) IT increased my transmit from 1 to 11 & cured it - yesterday. Today its slow buffer again. The fight continues........
