With my MP3 player can I store music on top of what I've already stored onto it.

you should be able to add to what you have already got as long as you have enough 'space' on you player.If the player is already full, you will most probably need to delete some of the music in order to store some new ones.MP3 players are not like the old cassettes where you just recorded over the top of what was ont the tape.
