Links from email don't work

Asking on behalf of a friend so not 100% sure of the details... but when they open their emails & click on a link to a website, nothing happenens... any ideas???

This sounds like an issue with AOL software. There's an option to click on with "enable clickable links" or similar.

If this doesn't solve the problem please reply with the name of the email program your friend is using.

I asked which email they're using & they said... "our sp is Wanadoo Pay as You Go which used to be freeserve - email address contacts fsnet.co.uk"
