I am wanting to copy what I have recorderd on my Digital Camcorder to a blank disk via my pc so what I want to know is what kind of disk do I need to buy and how do I get what've recordered onto the disk.And also are they any books I can buy what will tell me what to do. And if it helps I want to record it on a disk where I can watch what I've recordered on my DVD player.

I'm not an expert but to give you an idea this is what you have to do, first you need to download the video from your camcorder to the PC via a 'firewire' lead, you then need some software, I believe XP has a simple version, if not something like 'Pinnacle' or 'Ulead' is needed, you can now edit the video if required, whether or not you edit it, you will need to use the software to perform a DVD authoring process, this takes quite a time, an hour or so, you can make either a VCD, SVCD or a DVD, the latter is probably the best. I don't know any books but the Ulead website has a forum which is very helpful if you use their software.
