Yes. Ican't remember the name of it just now but an internet search should find it. You have to have call divert facility on your phone line for it to work though. Any incoming calls are then diverted to a unique number (you have to pay for the diverted part of call) which then notifies you of the call. You can choose to hang up and take the call or stay on and take the call. I decided that it wasn't worth it personally as I don't get that many calls and I would have to pay for call diversion and for the diverted calls. People can just phone my mobile instead.
I think ndarroch is referring to Freeserve Callmanager. Details on Freeserve's website
It wasn't freeserve I was referring to. It was an american product originally I think which had been developed for the UK. I know I have a note of it on my old computer but that is 400 miles away at present.
LINE ONE CALL MANAGER-Download from BBC website Thankyou.
The main link you want is Online Call Manager at http://www.ocmuk.com ISP's (Freeserve, Lineone) use OCM's software to personalise their own offerings. It's free, although you do need Call Divert activated on your phone line, which costs...
Or you could have your calls diverted to a mobile like I have but remember to have the mobile switched on.
It is called message alert system, if you have incoming calls or fax from internet then you will receive a message alert in your personal mobile phones.
