i have a QuarkXpress 6.5 demo.

i want to knokw how to bring a picture into a project.
i try copying and pasting but it doesnt work.

1. In the tools palette select the picture box tool. This looks like a rectangle with a cross in it.

2. On your page click & drag a rectangle to roughly the size you want your picture to be.

3. Go to the "File" menu and select "Get Picture"

4. Navigate to the picture you want to import

You need open a picture box (the little icon of a square shape with a diagonal cross in it) from the Tools menu, then with the cursor in the Item Tool mode, go to the top menu bar, File-Import Picture and select where the picture is located.
