google home age

I seem to be going mad. I am trying to make google my home page, so i can see the road traffic maps of london, but when i do the " make google my home page " bit and drag it over to the house icon, my home page then becomes the " make google my home page" page. what am i doing wrong???

Go into the browser options and set this as your home page by copying and pasting the URL

Damn, it shortened the URL.... I didn't think AB recognised https urls's as a link..

Right click on the above link and select copy link location (or similar, depending on browser) to get the full link.

1. Go into options from setting, if you are using chrome and go into tools>>options if your are using Firefox browser.
2. After that click on the tab basic in chrome and main in the Firefox.
3. Select "open the home page" option from On start up and select "Show my home page" option from When Firefox starts for Firefox browser.
4. Set the link of the Google home page in the home page option of Firefox and Open this page option of chrome.
