Can anyone tell me what the difference is between Linux hosting and Windows hosting? Which one is better? Also, does anyone know somewhere that offers web hosting to include audio streaming (not via http)?

cheers

The difference is simply that with Windows hosting your site is hosted on a machine running windows and Linux hosting is on Linux.

I'll let you make the judgment on which is more secure, but if you have written your site in ASP or ASPX it needs to be hosted on a windows machine.
