Following on from a question further down about removing old Google searches, I did as suggested by clicking "Tools", "Internet Options", "Content", "AutoComplete" then the revealed box was already ticked with the following.

Web addresses

Forms

Usernames and passwords on forms.

The "Prompt me to save passwords" box was not already ticked. I then clicked on "Clear Forms".

All the old searches were cleared out as I had hoped, but this has also removed my suggested email prompt for speedily logging into webmail with Wanadoo.

Can anybody please suggest a way to restore my email quick log-in prompt.

why did u not follow my answer which was a lot easier than that, simply place your mouse over the list of previous google words and press the delete button for each word u highlight
I may be wrong but I thought that the email quick log-in prompt was stored in a cookie. Did you clear the cookies at some point?

My apologies donslot if my earlier suggestion has caused you problems. Provided that the "Usenames and passwords on forms" box is ticked it should remember it after you enter it the first time.
