free customer database

Hello to you all.

Can anyone tell me if there is a free customer database program out there for the printing industry.

I run a small printers and want to try and be more organised but the programs are so expensive.

Or has anyone got one at a knock down price.

What sort of thing did you have in mind. Do you just want to store their details. No fancy processing etc.

Microsoft Outlook which comes free with most new computers is perfectly OK for that sort of thing.

Microsoft Access or Excel would be better choices for a customer database. Both allow easy access to data tracking of orders spending and ability to quickly run mailing lists.

Perhaps something like www.salesforce.com could be tailored to meet your needs? It is a complete CRM package that is charged per user per year. They offer loads of tech support included in the price too :-)
