Not easily, I think you have to get an Airprint printer. If you google there are loads of sites helping, I've just had a look but there are too many and I don't know which one to link. I just email stuff to myself from the iPad then print it from the desktop.
29. Can I print from my Ipad?

NO! Apple didn't build in a printing function. Unfortunately, you can't tap a menu button to print an email, nor a document. However, there are a few third-party apps that allow printing of some items from an iPad to a networked printer. One is Print Online. But these apps are complicated and are nothing more than limited substitutes for an obvious function that to my opinion, should be included urgently. The only way to successfully print a document created in an ipad is to sync it to a desktop computer and print it from there.
Another, older thread, suggest something called printopia

I want to love this iPad, because it's a pretty little thing, but it's just a pain in the arse in so many ways.

You can print to many printers from your iPad.

I bother with Apple because they work better than PC, the programs are cheaper they fall over less often and network easily....oh and they look good.
I like to keep up with the joggers

If you press the home button and power button together it will take a picture of the screen which is saved to your photos. You can then email this to your PC and print it. I have to say JJ I don't think you're using your iPad as it was intended.
What's it intended for, Zacs?
Entertainment & communication.
There's a USB on the sync cable that plugs into your charger. Plug the USB into your computer or printer (if compatible). The 'new hardware' should pop up for you to choose your files. thus,
