no sound

Hi all,
i have connected an M-audio fast track mic recording interface, loaded the disc, all went well, but no sound at all. it is plugged into a usb port, and if you turn the volume up high you can hear the white noise. i have tried everything, but no sound. any ideas?

Plugging in an external audio interface doesn't disable the internal one, so you have a choice of sending output to either interface. Consequently you need to tell whatever program you are using which interface to use.

Your post is a bit short on info:
Which of the M-Audio interfaces are you using?
What operating system?
What software are you using that gives you no audio out?
