not sure about the burning features as part of winXP, but get yourself Nero Burning Rom and choose to make a data CD. drag in the files you want, and burn away! If you have a DVD writer, you could even burn your files to a DVD.

If your computer has another CD-making program, that'll offer the same functionality.
yeh just locate the file and write it to the cd in the way you would normally write files.  OK Computer! A radiohead fan? Radiohead rule.
