Has anyone used the JVC miniDV model GR-D225ex available from Pixmania for �210, if so what do you think about it.? I want a really easy to use camcorder at around this price, and one which I can watch through my TV or DVD.
Any other easy to use model which can be recommended or other advice would be appreciated.

I purchased this model from Pixmania 6 months ago, and even though I know very little about camcorders, I did find it very easy to use, with excellent results.
However, due to it accidently getting damaged recently, I have been trying to get Pixmania to give me information on where I can get a repair done in the UK, and this is turning into a real problem as it is not covered under the warranty- in which case I should have had to send it to an address in France, not really what I would prefer, and I havent yet solved this problem.
So if you can sort out what you would do, if this happened to you, and get a satisfactory answer before buying, then I would definitely go for this model.
