You appear to be asking a question concerning Google Chrome and then indicate that you are trying to save when using Firefox, but IE then comes into the equation.
Please give some more info which includes your default Browser and operating system (e.g. Windows XP, Vista, W7 or whatever)
Ron.

sorry but i´m also stumped, by words such as paint, jpg.
I will start from the beginning, I used to have 3 browers, IE, firefox+googlechrome. I decided recently to remove IE + firefox, due to there inefficiency, and found googlechrome a lot quicker and just more user friendly.
Anyway i tried to save an article recently, by right clicking my mouse, to my horror, it saved the article in internet explorer, why??
So ive tried to download IE again, but it seems impossible, my pc keeps saying i´ve still got IE, so wont let me download IE 7 OR IE 9.

I've just looked through your posts and see your using W7.
Click 'Start' in the Run/Search box type 'iexplore' without the quotes. At the top you should now have 'iexplore.exe'. Drag and Drop this to your desktop, Windows might say 'cannot do this, do you want a shortcut?' click Yes.
Click the shortcut and see if IE starts up. Let us know what happens......

It sounds like Google Chrome is not your default browser. Follow the instructions on this page:
http:// support .google ...py?h l=en&an swer=95 417
Once you have done that, go back and open the "articles" you have saved. You should find they open in Chrome.

My experience with Chrome and Firefox is that when you save from the Internet the page/file will end-up in a 'Downloads' folder.
Click the 3bars on the top right hand corner of your Google page, then look down the menu and click downloads to see what's in the folder which then opens. With a bit of luck your missing documents will be there.
